Make your gifts extra special with handmade photo gift tags.
A little time and trouble taken in wrapping a present makes all the difference, and you can make your present get noticed by adding a personalized photo gift tag.
To create this digital photo project, you could use a picture of the recipient – particularly appropriate for a child who cannot yet read – or perhaps a visual clue to the fit inside. And with your digital camera or camera cell phone, taking the appropriate digital images is easy and quick.
Print your selected digital images with either your inkjet photo printer or through an in-store or online digital photo developing service. Either print the digital photos in 2” x 3” format, or print in a larger size and use crafting scissors to cut out the digital pictures. You can cut the digital images either in geometric shapes like circles, squares, or ovals, or just cut the subject from the digital photo. You can use the digital image as the gift tag itself, or glue them onto colored card stock cut into shapes.
Punch a hole in the photo tag, write on the back of the personalized gift tag, or not, then attach the photo gift tag to the present with some pretty ribbon or double-sided tape.
Whatever digital photo you choose, you can be sure that your efforts will be appreciated and the photo gift tags will not be discarded with the other gift wrappings, instead, they will be cherished for a long time.
