Share your digital photos with a personal photo screensaver

Instead of the boring screensaver that comes with your computer, why not put some of your favorite digital photos into a photo screen saver, and then when your computer isn’t being used, it can become a fun digital photo display.

Photo slide show screensavers are special versions of photo slide shows that turn on automatically after your computer has been idle for a specified length of time. Many digital photo image editing software programs come with an option to create a photo screensaver. Or search the internet for sites that offer free photo screensaver capability.

Get to see your digital photos sooner

Now that you have a personalize photo screensaver, you'll probably want to adjust the idle time before the photo screensaver starts so you can enjoy your photo slide show. Set the time delay for your photo screen saver by going into your computer's desktop settings. Do this by

right clicking on your computer's desktop
selecting the Properties menu and a Display Properties window opens
clicking the ScreenSaver tab to see all the option for screen savers
setting the time interval before the screen saver starts. 10 minutes is a good delay time. If your computer is not used for that length of time, then the photo screen saver comes on.

Now with your personal photo screensaver, your computer has become an inexpensive digital photo display, and you can relive your holidays and family fun times every time you take a break from your computer.
